Point Marion is a small Pennsylvania river town of 1,200 people sitting right on the West Virginia border along the Monongahela River. Take US 119 south from Uniontown (15 miles) or I-79 to US 119 from Pittsburgh (about an hour). The town's historic 1930s suspension bridge over the Monongahela replaced the old ferry crossings that once carried coal miners between states.
