Pocasset is a farming town of 181 people in central Oklahoma, about 30 miles southwest of Oklahoma City via I-44 and local roads. Highway 9 runs through town, connecting to nearby Chickasha and providing access to I-44 for longer trips. The community sits in wheat and cattle country, and its original 1902 post office building still operates today.
