Plum Grove is a small Texas city about 40 miles northeast of Houston via Highway 105. Most visitors drive from Houston using I-45 north to Highway 105 east, passing through Cleveland. The area serves as a bedroom community for Houston commuters and a gateway to Sam Houston National Forest. The town maintains a restored 1950s fire truck that still participates in local parades.
