Plover is a tiny farming town of 45 people in northwest Iowa's Pocahontas County. Drive Highway 3 west from Pocahontas for 8 miles to reach it, or take Highway 20 to Fort Dodge then north on 169. The community centers around a classic white wooden church with a tall steeple from the early 1900s.
