Pleasure Point is a small coastal community in Santa Cruz County, perched on cliffs overlooking Monterey Bay. Highway 1 runs right through town, connecting it to Santa Cruz and Monterey, while Highway 17 brings visitors from the Bay Area through the mountains. The area is famous for its world-class surf breaks, especially The Hook, where a former sewer pipe created the perfect wave formation that still draws surfers from across California.
