Pleasanton is a small farming town in south-central Nebraska, about 25 miles southwest of Kearney via Highway 10. Most visitors arrive from I-80 through Kearney or from Grand Island on Highway 10. The town sits in classic Great Plains country with endless farmland stretching in all directions. Its historic grain elevator complex towers over the prairie, serving local farmers just like it has for generations.
