united states

Pleasant Hill is a small timber town of about 600 people in western Louisiana's pine country, sitting right on US Highway 171 about 30 miles south of Mansfield. Most traffic arrives via US 171, which connects east to Interstate 49 for trips to Shreveport or Alexandria. The town features one of Louisiana's quirkiest roadside attractions: a giant concrete dinosaur that's been greeting travelers along the highway for decades.
