Pleak is a small Fort Bend County city about 25 miles southwest of Houston, accessible via Highway 36 south from Sugar Land or US 59 to Highway 36 from Houston. The area features flat coastal prairie with hot, humid summers and mild winters. Most traffic consists of daily commutes to the Houston metro area, typically taking 45 minutes to an hour. Many residents keep horses on larger residential properties.
