Plaza is a farming town of 350 people in north-central North Dakota, reached via Highway 8 from Stanley (20 miles north) or Parshall (15 miles south). The area is classic prairie country with wheat fields stretching to the horizon. The town's working grain elevator from the early 1900s still dominates the skyline and serves local farmers.
