Plattsmouth is a small river town about 20 miles south of Omaha via Highway 75. As Nebraska's oldest incorporated city, it features 19th-century limestone buildings along Main Street and serves as Cass County's seat. The historic courthouse with its distinctive 1892 clock tower remains the town's most recognizable landmark.
