Pitman is a small South Jersey borough about 20 miles southeast of Philadelphia, easily reached via Route 322. The town sits at the intersection of several key routes, with I-295 to the north and Route 55 nearby for shore access. Most visitors arrive from Philadelphia (30 minutes west) or when traveling between North and South Jersey destinations. Philadelphia International Airport is 25 miles northwest. The historic downtown features the Pitman Theater, which has been operating since 1926.
