Pink is a small Oklahoma town of about 2,200 people located 35 miles east of Oklahoma City via US Highway 177. The main routes are US 177 running north-south and State Highway 9 to the east and west, connecting to Shawnee and Seminole. Most traffic consists of locals heading to Shawnee for shopping and services. The town got its unusual name from the distinctive pink-colored soil found around the original settlement.
