united states

Piggott is a small farming town in northeastern Arkansas, right near the Missouri border. Highway 62 runs straight through downtown, connecting to Corning 15 miles west and the Missouri line to the east. Most visitors follow Highway 62 from either direction, while locals use Highway 1 for north-south trips to nearby communities. The big draw here is the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum, where Ernest Hemingway actually wrote parts of "A Farewell to Arms" in a converted barn during family visits in the 1920s.
