Pierce City is a small Missouri town near the Kansas border, about 30 miles northeast of Joplin. Take Interstate 44 to Exit 46, then follow Highway 97 south through rolling Ozark countryside. Highway 160 runs east-west through town, connecting to Springfield 60 miles east. The original railroad depot from the 1800s still stands as a museum.
