Phillips is a small farming town of 382 people in south-central Nebraska's Hamilton County. Highway 6 runs east-west through town, connecting to Grand Island (25 miles northeast) and Hastings (30 miles southeast) for shopping and services. Highway 14 provides north-south access through the county. The town's historic grain elevator dominates the skyline and can be spotted from miles across the flat prairie.
