Pewamo is a farming community in west-central Michigan, about 20 miles from Grand Rapids via I-96 and M-21. The village sits along the old Grand Rapids-Lansing corridor in rolling agricultural country. Most traffic uses M-21 as the main east-west route, with Portland and Lyons roads providing north-south connections. The historic grain elevator towers over the surrounding cornfields and serves as a regional landmark.
