Peninsula is a small village of 576 people nestled in Cuyahoga Valley National Park between Cleveland and Akron. Take State Route 303 east from I-77 or west from I-271 to reach this scenic spot along the Cuyahoga River. The village serves as a gateway to the national park and the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. The historic Peninsula Depot from 1880 operates as the northern terminus for scenic railroad excursions through the valley.
