Pembroke is a small city in rural Bryan County, about 45 miles northwest of Savannah via US 280. The main route connects to I-16 near Statesboro, linking the area to Macon and Atlanta. State Route 119 runs north-south through town. The restored 1908 courthouse now houses the Bryan County Museum with local historical exhibits.
