Pearl is a tiny Pike County community of 64 people along the Mississippi River in west-central Illinois. Take Route 96 north from Hannibal (20 miles) or connect via US 36 from Springfield. Most visitors come from the Hannibal area, while locals use Route 96 for trips to Pittsfield or Barry. The historic one-room schoolhouse from 1895 still stands in town.
