Paxico is a small Kansas town of 166 people in Wabaunsee County, about 15 miles west of Topeka along Highway 99. Most visitors reach it via Interstate 70 (Exit 335 at Maple Hill) or Highway 4 from Topeka. The town sits in rolling hills along the Kansas River valley and features historical markers marking the old Pony Express route that once passed through here.
