Patterson is a tiny farming village in west-central Ohio with just 149 residents. Located in Hardin County along State Route 235, it's about an hour from Columbus via US-23 and Route 31. Local traffic uses Route 309 from Lima, about 25 miles away. The village sits in rolling agricultural country typical of Ohio's heartland. Patterson operates one of the state's smallest post offices, which doubles as a community center.
