Patmos is a tiny Arkansas community of just 38 people in Hempstead County's pine hill country. Drivers reach it via Highway 355, with most taking Highway 4 from Hope (15 miles) or connecting from Interstate 30 about 30 miles north. The settlement was named after the Greek island where the apostle John reportedly wrote the Book of Revelation.
