Parsons, the Tucker County seat, sits in West Virginia's mountains along US Route 219, about 30 miles north of Elkins. Most visitors arrive via US 50 from the D.C. area or US 33 from Charleston. The historic 1905 Parsons Depot now houses the local visitors bureau.
