Parrott is a tiny farming community in southwest Georgia with just 79 residents. Most people reach it via US Highway 19, which connects north to Albany (30 miles) and Interstate 75. The nearest airport is Southwest Georgia Regional in Albany. The town was named after the Parrott family, who ran a plantation here in the 1800s.
