Parkton is a small Robeson County town of 529 people along US Highway 301, about 30 minutes south of Fayetteville. The main route is US-301, which connects north to Fayetteville and Interstate 95, and south to Lumberton. Fayetteville Regional Airport is 25 miles northeast via US-301. The town still has old tobacco warehouses from its agricultural past.
