Park Hills, a former lead mining town of 8,678 people, sits in southeastern Missouri's rolling hills about 75 miles south of St. Louis. Take I-55 south to the Farmington exit, then Highway 32 west for the most direct route from the city. The town anchors the historic Lead Belt region and houses Mineral Area College, which has been training students in technical trades since 1922.
