Parcelas Mandry is a small residential area in Ponce County, about 12 miles northeast of downtown Ponce. Take Highway PR-14 north from Ponce to reach this quiet community of under 200 residents. Mercedita International Airport is 8 miles southeast. The area sits in Puerto Rico's agricultural zone between the coast and central mountains, named after the Spanish colonial "parcelas" land division system that distributed small farming plots to 18th-century settlers.
