Paragonah is a farming town of 647 people in Iron County, Utah, sitting along State Route 143 between Parowan and Cedar Breaks National Monument. Most visitors arrive via I-15 Exit 75 at Parowan, then drive three miles south on SR-143. The town sits at 5,800 feet elevation with red rock scenery and the Tushar Mountains as a backdrop. The 1878 red brick schoolhouse on Main Street still serves as the community center.
