Palmyra is a farming town of 589 people in southeastern Nebraska, about 25 miles from Lincoln via Highway 2. Most visitors drive the straight 30-minute route from Lincoln or connect from I-80 when coming from Omaha. The restored 1888 Union Pacific depot serves as the town's community center and historic centerpiece.
