Palmview is a young city in South Texas's Rio Grande Valley, about 10 miles west of McAllen via US Highway 83. The main routes are US 83 east-west and State Highway 107 north-south, connecting to McAllen, Mission, and Edinburg. McAllen Miller International Airport is 15 miles southeast. The city incorporated in 2006, making it one of the valley's newest municipalities.
