Palisade is a tiny Mississippi River town in east-central Minnesota, about 100 miles north of Minneapolis via Highway 169 and Highway 210. Most visitors arrive from the Twin Cities or Duluth using Highway 210, which runs right through town. The community of 148 sits where Palisade Creek meets the Mississippi, named for the small waterfall created by an old logging dam.
