Pachuta is a small Mississippi town of 351 people in Clarke County, accessible via Highway 45 from Meridian (35 miles north) or Mobile direction. Highway 18 provides east-west county access. Most visitors arrive via Interstate 20 at Meridian, then south on Highway 45. The town sits in Mississippi's Pine Belt region with rolling, forested terrain. It's home to one of the state's oldest continuously operating general stores from the early 1900s.
