Oxford is a small farming community about 15 miles west of Iowa City via Highway 6. Take I-380 south from Cedar Rapids to Highway 6 west, or exit I-80 at Coralville and head west on Highway 6. The Iowa City airport is 20 miles southeast. The 1902 Oxford Opera House still hosts local events.
