Otsego lies 35 miles northwest of Minneapolis along Highway 101, easily reached via I-94 west to the Highway 101 exit near Rogers. The city sits on rolling prairie beside the Crow River, with most visitors arriving from the Twin Cities for its small-town charm and outdoor recreation. The restored 1881 Great Northern Railway depot downtown now serves as the visitor center.
