Ossian is a small farming community in northeast Iowa's scenic Driftless Area, about 8 miles east of Decorah via Highway 9. The town of 800 sits among rolling hills where prairie meets woodland, connected to larger cities through Highway 52 and various routes to Interstate 35. Its annual Fun Days festival features a parade that's famously longer than Main Street itself.
