Osceola is a small farming town in northeast Arkansas, about 45 miles north of Memphis via Interstate 55. The county seat sits in flat Mississippi River delta country surrounded by cotton and soybean fields. Most visitors arrive on I-55, which intersects with US 61 and Highway 140 downtown. The Great River Road Interpretive Center provides one of the area's few spots to actually see the Mississippi River up close.
