Osborn is a small farming town of about 400 people in northwestern Missouri, roughly 50 miles northeast of Kansas City. The main route from Kansas City takes I-35 north to Cameron, then Highway 36 west to Highway 13 north. From St. Joseph, it's a straight shot east on Highway 36 then south on Highway 13. The town's working grain elevator towers over the surrounding cornfields and remains a landmark visible for miles across the prairie.
