Oronoco is a small farming town in southeastern Minnesota, about 15 miles northwest of Rochester via Highway 52. The main route connects it to Rochester and the Twin Cities, while County Road 9 provides east-west access. Most trips are either quick commutes to Rochester or longer drives to Minneapolis-St. Paul. The town hosts the massive Gold Rush Days antique festival each August, drawing thousands of collectors to hunt for treasures.
