Ormond Beach is a coastal city in Volusia County, just north of Daytona Beach along Florida's Atlantic shore. I-95 runs right through town, connecting to Jacksonville and Orlando, while scenic A1A hugs the beachfront. US-1 and SR-40 provide additional access routes. Daytona Beach International Airport is 10 miles south. The Wright Brothers conducted some of their earliest flight experiments here in 1903 at what's now the municipal airport.
