Orleans is a small farming town in south-central Nebraska, accessible via US Highway 183 which runs north to Holdrege and south into Kansas. The community of 337 people sits among wheat and corn fields about 45 miles south of I-80. The town's century-old wooden grain elevator still operates today, towering over the prairie as both a working facility and historic landmark.
