Oriskany is a small Mohawk Valley village in central New York, about 10 miles west of Utica via Route 69. Take I-90 to Exit 31, then head south on Route 69 for the most direct access. Griffiss International Airport in Rome is 15 miles northeast. The village is named for the Revolutionary War Battle of Oriskany, and a stone monument still marks the 1777 battlefield site.
