Orion is a small farming town of about 1,800 people in Henry County, Illinois, sitting on Route 150 about 20 miles southeast of the Quad Cities. Most visitors arrive via I-74 to the Geneseo exit, then south on Route 150, or from the northwest via Route 81 from Coal Valley. The town's massive concrete grain elevator towers over the prairie landscape as a landmark of its agricultural roots.
