Oregon is a Lake Erie suburb just east of Toledo, connected by Interstate 280 and State Route 2. The city sits where the Maumee River meets the Great Lakes, creating wetlands and waterfront parks throughout the area. Toledo Executive Airport is located just south of town. Oregon is known for having one of Ohio's most extensive municipal park systems, with Maumee Bay State Park providing direct Lake Erie access.
