Orangeville is a farming town of about 1,000 people in northwestern Illinois, 15 miles southwest of Freeport. Take Route 26 from Freeport or Mount Morris, or connect from I-39 via local roads from Chicago. The area sits on rolling prairie between the Mississippi and Rock River valleys. The 1896 brick schoolhouse still stands as the town's centerpiece.
