Oran is a small farming town in Missouri's Bootheel, about 20 miles southwest of Cape Girardeau via Highway 61. Most visitors use Highway 61 north-south or Route 80 east-west to reach town. Cape Girardeau Regional Airport is 22 miles northeast. The town hosts Oran Fun Day each September, featuring a parade and festivities in the community park.
