Oppelo is a small Arkansas River valley town in Conway County, connected by Highway 154 to Highway 9 and Interstate 40. Most visitors arrive via Highway 9 from Morrilton or Conway, about 15-30 minutes away. The community sits among rolling farmland and timber country typical of central Arkansas. Oppelo preserves a historic one-room schoolhouse from 1905 that still stands on the main street.
