Onley is a small Eastern Shore town where US Route 13 serves as Main Street, connecting travelers between Norfolk and the Delmarva Peninsula. The drive from Norfolk takes about two hours via the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. Most local trips involve short hops along Route 13 to neighboring Accomac or Melfa, while longer routes head toward Maryland beaches or back to Virginia's mainland. The town features a restored 1906 Pennsylvania Railroad station that now houses vintage train displays.
