Omro is a small Wisconsin city of about 3,600 people located along the Fox River, 15 miles west of Oshkosh via Highway 21. The town sits in agricultural country with easy access from Green Bay (Highway 10 to 21) and the Twin Cities (I-94 to Highway 21). Highway 116 runs north-south through town, connecting to rural lake areas popular with anglers and boaters. The town's most notable landmark is its historic manually operated swing bridge over the Fox River.
