Oliver is a tiny farming community of about 200 people in rural Screven County, Georgia. Located on historic US Highway 301, it's 25 miles south of Statesboro and 45 miles northwest of Savannah. Most visitors pass through on US 301, once a major north-south route before I-95. The town sits in rolling farmland with a small cluster of buildings that recalls the highway's busier days.
