Okarche is a farming town of about 1,300 people sitting 35 miles northwest of Oklahoma City in Canadian County. Take US-81 north to Kingfisher, then Highway 3 west for the most direct route from OKC. The town sits amid wheat fields and cattle ranches on the flat prairie, with the 1891 Holy Trinity Catholic Church's red brick towers serving as a landmark visible across the surrounding farmland.
